There’s no better place to be than Paris in the spring time. Another great reason is to see the “Joséphine” exhibition at the Musée de Luxembourg in Paris showing until June 29th.

On the occasion of the bicentenary of the Empress Josephine’s death at Malmaison on 29 May 1814, the exhibition seeks to renew the image of a woman who left a deep imprint on the history of France; a woman of her time, who still incarnates an extraordinary destiny in a society in the throes of change.

The exhibit revisits her life, her passions and her influence in dictating fashions as an icon of French taste, style and elegance throughout Europe.
